Service Flag Message Fly a Service Flag - Ron Meier, Tiffany Neighbor
I live at 7347 S. Steele Circle. If you walk past my home, you will see a small flag in
my front window with a blue star on it. That is called a Service Flag. Certain family members of someone serving
in the military are authorized to fly a Service Flag, so that others in their community can be aware of the sacrifice their
family is making, pray for that family, offer support, etc. (my flag has been displayed for about 10 years now). Almost
everyone had a Service Flag in their windows during WWII, but, until recently, the Service Flag was not displayed by many. I know there are other families
in Tiffany who have sons, daughters, grandchildren, brothers and sisters currently serving, but they probably never heard about
the Service Flag. I would like them to be aware of the fact that they can display a Service Flag in their windows.
If someone in your family is serving in the military, you may be permitted
to display a Service Flag in your window. Contact Ron Meier at 303-668-1773 or ronmeier66@comcast.net if you would like to know more and/or

Dues statements
2010 THOA dues statements will be going out in mid-December. Remember, three years ago the Treasurer
stopped sending out quarterly statements. The December statement will give you the option of paying your
2010 dues in one annual payment of $232.96 or to use the attached coupons to continue to make $58.24 Quarterly payments. Payments
are due by the 10th day of the first month of the quarter (Jan/April/July/Oct). If you still owe dues for 2009, please remit
them promptly. Shel Spiegelman has a locking mailbox on his fron porch at 7456 S Milwaukee Way, if you would like to
save yourself the stamp and envelope. Have Questions or

Park Improvement
The THOA Board is asking for volunteers to participate in the Tiffany Park Improvement Committee.
As mentioned in Sheldon’s Treasurer’s report in this issue, we are budgeting money for the Park in the proposed
budget for 2010. The volunteers will begin in November to develop ideas, proceed to launch and then target completion. This
effort may include recreation enhancements for kids of all ages so it’s important that we have a mix of volunteers.
If you’re interested, contact any Board Member or click on the Board of Directors Link on the right side of the homepage,
and make a comment.
ACC Update :
ACC Letters
have gone out to everyone with a architectural violation. Please do all you can to have them taken care of so we can
keep up the standards of our neighborhood. If you have a question or concern regarding the violation, please contact
